ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collect and process venous and capillary samples from all patient age groups.
- Perform and document therapeutic phlebotomies.
- Document and record samples/results.
- Accession and process referral testing samples.
- Maintain records, files and route patient reports.
- Perform clerical duties as assigned.
- Participate and promote QA activities.

- Phlebotomy skill and competency.

ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education - High school graduate or equivalent; formal phlebotomy training preferred.
- Work Experience - 6 months phlebotomy preferred.
- Training - N/A
- License/Certification - Certified Phlebotomist, CMA, EMT-B preferred.
