Full Description:
A temporary employee wellness clinic serving a corporate/industrial workforce inRiverside, CA is seeking a Spanish Speaking Patient Care Coordinator with phlebotomy experience. This role supports workplace screening operations by assisting patients with referral scheduling and performing skilled specimen collections in a professional workplace environment.
The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create a supportive and organized patient experience. Clinic events are scheduled periodically as part of workplace wellness programming and are not part of a fixed schedule.
Qualified candidates may include LPNs, Phlebotomists, Medical Assistants, or Paramedics with phlebotomy experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup of mobile clinic within corporate environments supporting employee wellness programs.
- Perform/collect accurate venipuncture and specimen collections.
- Review health history, record patient information and update electronic health record (EHR).
- Assist patients with referral scheduling and follow-up appointments.
- Provide education and guidance on next steps for care.
- Coordinate with insurance providers when necessary for scheduling or documentation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with service providers.
- Maintain professionalism and treat patients with respect.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with documentation, data tracking, and basic spreadsheet reporting when appropriate.
- Support smooth clinic workflow in a temporary on-site screening environment.
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted clinical license or certification.
- Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
- Phlebotomy experience required (certification preferred).
- Must be bilingual fluent in Spanish.
- Proven experience with medical scheduling and familiarity with EMR system is a plus.
- Customer service-oriented and has great bedside manner.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision.
- Must bring a personal laptop or tablet to each shift to complete electronic charting and documentation.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Riverside, CA 92507.
