Phlebotomist
Job Description
As a Phlebotomist, you will perform venipunctures and capillary draws, executing approximately 25-30 collections per day while adhering to established procedures and quality standards. You will greet and identify patients, complete accurate patient intake, and conduct required screening questions. Your role involves accurately entering patient and specimen information into the electronic system, accessioning specimens, and performing light processing following protocols. You will ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of specimens to maintain their integrity and compliance. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all HIPAA and safety regulations is essential. You will provide a high level of patient care, ensuring comfort and professionalism during the collection process.

Work Environment
This position offers a Monday to Friday day shift with hours ranging between 7 AM and 6 PM, covering 8-hour shifts. It is a contract role from July to October. The work environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and organization, with a strong adherence to HIPAA and safety regulations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
