Phlebotomist/EKG Technician- Full Time- Second Shift
Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Phlebotomist/EKG Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing blood draws and EKGs. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where building connections with patients is key, many of whom you'll see regularly. Phlebotomist/EKG Techs are vital members of our healthcare team, and we are looking for individuals who excel in technical skills and contribute to a positive work environment. We're looking for someone who is open to learning, receptive to feedback, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care.
Healthcare experience is preferred, and priority consideration will be given to applicants with phlebotomy experience.
Location: Bellevue Medical Center | Nebraska Medicine Omaha, NE
Schedule:
Full-Time, 40hrs/wk
Primary Schedule: Second Shift, Monday- Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Weekend Rotation: Every 3-4 weeks, Saturday-Sunday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Duties: Phlebotomist/EKG Technician
Responsible for duties related to performing adult and pediatric EKG testing, specimen collection, specimen processing, and distribution of patient specimens for testing while adhering to department identification policies. Perform, evaluate, and report patient specimens using point-of-care instrumentation. Demonstrate behavioral skills that contribute to a productive work environment and provide excellent customer service.
