Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist Floater to support our client's healthcare facility in Suwanee GA.

Job Details:

Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours/week)

Location: Suwanee GA 30024

Job Type: local contract

Contract Length: 6 months+

Pay Range: $23.86 - $25.57 per hour

  • Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Performed venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, and adult blood collections while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Collected, labeled, processed, and prepared specimens for laboratory testing, maintaining specimen integrity and following quality standards.
  • Verified patient identification, obtained required documentation, and maintained accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Traveled between multiple Patient Service Centers (PSCs), physician offices, and client locations to provide phlebotomy support as needed.
  • Delivered excellent patient care while working independently in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety, infection control, and organizational protocols.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent - REQUIRED
  • License(s): preferred
  • Certification(s): preferred
  • Years of experience: Three years phlebotomy experience required
  • Skills/Specialties/Technology: Venipuncture & Capillary Blood Collection, Specimen Processing, Labeling & Chain of Custody, HIPAA Compliance & Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
