Laboratory Phlebotomist

The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in beautiful Helena, MT and we’re looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Laboratory Phlebotomist to join the healthcare team. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in the patient experience by providing safe, accurate specimen collection while delivering exceptional customer service and care.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform specimen collection for patients of all ages
  • Utilize the laboratory information system to accurately document specimen collection details, process test orders, and verify medical necessity.
  • Verify specimen labeling, quality, and acceptability for testing
  • Transport specimens to designated testing areas as needed
  • Provide clear collection instructions and support to patients
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy
  • Collaborate with laboratory and healthcare teams to support quality patient outcomes

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills, including professional telephone etiquette in all situations
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing workflows
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient satisfaction
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous phlebotomy or clinical experience preferred
  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred
  • Clinical knowledge and coursework in anatomy, physiology, medical technology, or patient care-related studies preferred
  • CPT certification preferred
