Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)

Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 3+ Months
Pay: $21/hour

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and professionalism while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection for clinical and forensic testing
• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain patient records and required documentation
• Provide a safe, professional, and patient-friendly experience
• Follow established procedures and quality standards
• Support daily operations with minimal supervision

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy, medical assistant, or paramedic training preferred
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience; 1+ year preferred
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric blood draws preferred
• Strong customer service and data entry skills
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call if needed
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA)
