Job Duration: 2 months (possible extension)
Job Location: Lumberton, NJ 08048
Shift:Mon-Friday 7 am to 3: 30 pm with rotating weekends
Pay rate: 21.00/hr.
Job Description- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
- Demonstrate Leadership Behaviours while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
- Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
- Maintains required records and documentation.
- Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.
Requirements- Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED. One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- NJ Phlebotomy license required.
Skills- Keyboard/data entry.
- Customer services.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
