Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client's medical facility, located in Niagara Falls, NY 14304

This is a 7+ month (TEMP-TO-HIRE) job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Niagara Falls, NY 14304

Schedule: Available 6:00am - 4:30pm, varied hours (40hours/week)

Pay Range: $17 - $21 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED.
• One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.
