Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Draper / Salt Lake City, UT! This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role:Phlebotomist I

Location: Draper, UT 84020 or Salt Lake City, UT 84124

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $17-19/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
  • Draw blood from patients across a variety of age groups, including geriatric patients.
  • Perform approximately 25 patient draws per day while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and compassionate customer service.
  • Register patients upon arrival and verify patient information.
  • Properly identify and label specimens according to established procedures.
  • Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain specimen integrity throughout collection and processing.
  • Maintain accurate patient and specimen documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and laboratory staff.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
  • Experience with:
  • Pediatric collections
  • Geriatric collections
  • Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
