Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client, Labcorp, in Haddon Heights, NJ. This is a part-time, non-float position with the potential for temp-to-perm conversion based on performance.

Schedule: Part-time
Pay Range - $20-$21
Shift: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM
Patient Population: All ages
Daily Draws: Approximately 30–40
Work Environment: Patient Service Center
Setting: Team environment; non-float role
Training: On-the-job training at the same location
Assignment: Temp-to-Perm optional

Key Responsibilities
- Perform 30–40 blood draws per day using proper venipuncture techniques.
- Perform blood collection using straight needles and butterfly needles.
- Collect, label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and package specimens according to established procedures.
- Match laboratory requisitions with specimen tubes and verify patient information for accuracy.
- Properly explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures to patients.
- Ensure specimens are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintain specimen integrity during transport.
- Update patient information and accurately document collection and processing activities.
- Follow OSHA, safety, infection-control, and specimen-handling procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the team in a fast-paced Patient Service Center.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting.
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment, where required.
- Experience with specimen processing, labeling, centrifuging, and transportation.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work with patients of all ages.
