Shift: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday–Friday; every 3rd Saturday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (@L2Z)
Job Summary:
Seeking a Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist) to collect blood specimens, process samples for laboratory testing, and provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires accurate specimen collection, strong customer service, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for patients of all ages.
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Maintain accurate records and patient information.
- Follow safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
- Deliver professional, patient-focused customer service.
- Work independently while meeting productivity and quality standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred).
- Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (where applicable).
- Strong data entry and keyboard skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work scheduled weekends and overtime as needed.
