Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) Location: Ormond Beach, FL Shift: Wed–Fri 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, Sat 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Eastern) Duration: 3+ months Role Summary: Phlebotomist / PSR I serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing a professional and reassuring experience while performing accurate blood specimen collection and processing for lab testing. This role requires strong attention to detail, patient communication skills, and strict adherence to safety and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform blood draws and process clinical specimens accurately and safely Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of samples Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Explain procedures to patients and ensure a positive patient experience Follow established lab protocols and supervisor instructions Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (required) Strong venipuncture skills (pediatric & geriatric preferred) Basic data entry and keyboard skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime/on-call shifts Phlebotomy certification or medical training preferred (required in some states)I
