Job Title: Phlebotomist IJob Description
This Phlebotomist I position focuses on providing safe, accurate, and compassionate specimen collection services in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will perform venipunctures and other specimen collections, process and store specimens according to established procedures, and support smooth workflow through troubleshooting, training assistance, and process improvement recommendations. The role also includes patient registration, basic data entry, and clear communication with patients and clinical staff to ensure a high standard of care.

Work Environment
This role is based in a fast-paced clinical or laboratory setting with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will work directly with patients across a broad age range, from pediatric to geriatric, and can expect to perform blood draws on roughly 25 patients per day. The environment involves frequent interaction with patients and clinical staff, use of standard phlebotomy equipment such as straight and butterfly needles, centrifuges, and specimen containers, and regular use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite for patient registration and data entry. You will follow established safety protocols and regulatory guidelines, including OSHA and DEP standards, and participate in annual department trainings to maintain compliance and best practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.98 - $18.98/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
