Shift Timings:
- Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Position Summary
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, providing exceptional patient care and support. This role involves collecting high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring a safe, professional, and positive patient experience.
The PSR I plays a critical role in patient interaction, building trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing phlebotomy with precision, safety, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection in a safe, accurate, and professional manner
- Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures
- Ensure patient comfort while maintaining a high standard of care
- Verify patient information and maintain strict confidentiality
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required
- Follow all safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Demonstrate strong organizational commitment and promote a positive image of the company
- Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and supervisors
- Complete daily activities accurately and within specified timelines under supervision
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Medical training (Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or Paramedic) (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
- (Required for CA, NV, and WA only)
Work Experience
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required)
- 1+ year of phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
- Customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment (Preferred)
- Data entry/keyboard experience (Required)
