Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Butte, MT
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Duration: 4 months (Temp to Hire)
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist I serves as the primary point of contact for patients, performing blood collection and specimen preparation for lab testing. This role requires accuracy, professionalism, and strong patient interaction skills to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection (including pediatric and geriatric patients)
- Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for testing
- Verify patient information and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (required)
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric draws
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for coverage if needed
Preferred:
- Phlebotomy certification
- Medical assistant or paramedic training
- 2+ years in a patient service center or similar setting
- Customer service experience
