Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Denton, TX! This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role:Phlebotomist II

Location: Denton, TX 76210

Shift Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $19 - 22.53/hour (Based on years of experience & education)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection following established procedures.
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections.
• Explain blood-drawing and specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients.
• Verify patient demographic information and confirm patient identification prior to collection.
• Ensure specimen tubes are correctly labeled in the patient's presence.
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing as required.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and patient information.
• Follow established safety, infection-control, and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive, comfortable patient experience.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Experience with:
• Pediatric collections
• Geriatric collections
• Capillary collections

Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
