Job Title: Phlebotomist II Location: Duluth, GA, 30096 Position Type: Contract – 3 Months Contract End Date: December 31, 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; Rotational Saturdays, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM | 40 hours/week
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist II / Patient Services Representative II is responsible for providing high-quality patient service while safely and accurately collecting, processing, and preparing blood and other clinical specimens for laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections accurately and safely.
Collect specimens from Pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.
Verify patient identification and demographic information.
Ensure specimens are properly labelled in the patient's presence.
Process and prepare clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
Provide clear explanations of procedures and create a comfortable, professional patient experience.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Follow all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision.
Support multiple Patient Service Centers and physician office locations as business needs require.
Demonstrate strong customer service, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including Pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call shifts as required.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with a clean driving record, when applicable.
Ability to travel between locations with minimal notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of Patient Service Center experience.
Phlebotomy certification.
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
Korean, Mandarin, or Vietnamese language skills.
