  • Update patient information accurately in the system and perform data entry related to specimen collection and processing.
  • Record maintenance data and perform decontamination tasks to keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and compliant.
  • Prepare collection sites, including proper patient identification, site cleansing, and equipment setup prior to venipuncture or other specimen collection.
  • Handle insurance and billing-related tasks associated with lab services, ensuring accurate information and documentation.
  • Process samples from collection through final preparation for testing or transport, following all laboratory protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a patient-first mindset.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals by fully understanding and following all physician orders related to laboratory testing.
  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality, and contribute positively to a strong team environment.
