Job Title: Phlebotomist II - Float Location: Weston, FL Shift: Monday–Friday 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Saturdays 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM Duration: 3+ months Job Summary: The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing samples for lab testing, and delivering excellent patient care. This role requires direct patient interaction, ensuring accurate identification, labeling, and documentation while maintaining a safe and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture (including pediatric and geriatric patients) and specimen processing Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling Maintain records and follow procedures and safety standards Provide a professional and positive patient experience Travel between multiple sites as needed (floater role) Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (required) Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in some states) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and clean driving record Basic data entry/keyboard skills Preferred: Medical assistant or paramedic training Experience in a patient service center or healthcare settingI
