Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Job Type: 6+ Months Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST


Pay Range: $21.70 - $23.25/hr on W2 

Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team in Snellville, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and providing excellent patient care. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections following established procedures.
  • Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Verify patient identity and demographic information before specimen collection.
  • Ensure specimens are labeled accurately in the patient's presence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
  • Provide a professional and positive experience for patients.
  • Work independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Support multiple patient service centers or physician office locations as needed.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong specimen collection and processing skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA).
  • 2 years of Patient Service Center (PSC) experience.
  • Customer service experience in a healthcare or retail environment.
