Location: Vadnais Heights, MN Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent Schedule: M–F, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Why This Role Matters This position plays a key role in delivering accurate diagnostic information by ensuring high-quality specimen collection and excellent patient experience. You’ll help build trust with patients while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
What You'll Do
Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
Verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling and documentation of specimens
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment
Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive patient experience
Support daily operations and adapt to coverage needs across multiple sites as needed
What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations as needed
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying locations
Keyboard and data entry proficiency
Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements
Ability to meet compliance requirements
