Job Title: Phlebotomist III- Floater
Job Location: Arcadia, CA- 91007
Job Duration: 6+ months of Contract + Extension/temp to hire
Shift: Mon-Fri (Shift for this position may vary from starting at 6:30am to closing at 5:30pm. As floater schedule hours will change daily depending on where is needed)

Pay Rate: $25.30/hr - $31.15/hr on W2+ Mileage Reimbursement

Job Description:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience performing Phlebotomy with an active CPT License for the state of CA.
  • Floaters are able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement.
  • The Patient Services Representative III - Float (PSR - Float) represents the face of our company to patients, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
  • This role will direct daily activity at a Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP)
  • The PSR III draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
  • The PSR III has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
  • The PSR III will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
  • Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • Perform verification of patient demographic info/initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on th        e label is correct.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center, or as business needs dictate.
  • Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
