Location: Indianapolis, IN (floating within a 30‑mile radius)
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Core hours M-F, 6am-6:30pm (up to 8 hours per day)

You’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely diagnostic information by ensuring high‑quality specimen collection and patient-centered care. Your ability to build trust and maintain precision directly impacts patient outcomes and overall healthcare quality.

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
  • Verify patient demographics and ensure proper specimen labeling with patient confirmation
  • Provide clear explanations to patients to create a comfortable, trusting environment
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Float between sites to support Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy needs
  • Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, professional workspace

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
  • Flexibility to travel and adapt to varying schedules and locations
  • Data entry and basic computer skills
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
