Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III - Floater to support our client's healthcare facility in Kenosha, WI. Job Details:

Schedule: Monday-Friday; any 8-hour shift varies between 5:30 AM and 5:00 PM

Saturday Requirement: Rotating Saturdays; when working Saturday, a weekday off will be provided. The weekday off cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Pay Range: 24/Hour - 25.75/Hour

  • Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

  • Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and specimen collection.
  • Conduct blood draws for patients across a wide range of age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and ensure specimen labels accurately match patient information and requisitions.
  • Obtain and verify required patient signatures following venipuncture.
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing and transportation.
  • Explain collection procedures clearly and help create a comfortable, trusting environment.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, dress code, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Adapt to varying staffing needs and provide coverage at multiple locations with minimal notice.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Years of experience: Minimum 4 years of phlebotomy experience required
  • Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
