In this float role, you’ll be on the front lines of patient interaction—providing compassionate service, collecting high‑quality specimens, and supporting critical diagnostic testing that helps guide life‑changing medical decisions across multiple clinic locations.

Location: Lakeville, MN (Float – multiple sites)
Pay Rate: $28/hr
Employment Type: Contingent (with potential pathway to hire)
Schedule: M–F, 8-hour shifts between 6:45am–8:30pm (hours may vary); no weekends/no holidays

Why This Role Matters
As a float phlebotomist, you’ll support multiple patient service centers and clinic locations, ensuring continuity of care and timely specimen collection. Your adaptability and professionalism will directly support accurate diagnoses and positive patient experiences across the region.

What You'll Do

  • Perform venipuncture, capillary, and specimen collection for patients of all ages (pediatric through geriatric)
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens accurately for laboratory testing
  • Verify patient identity and obtain required documentation, including patient signatures post-collection
  • Travel to and support multiple sites based on daily workforce needs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment while following established procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to patients and team members

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric and geriatric collections)
  • Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel between sites
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and locations with minimal notice
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (TDaP, MMR, Varicella, TB test required; COVID-19 and Flu recommended)
