As a float phlebotomist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of care across multiple sites. Your adaptability, precision, and ability to connect with patients will directly contribute to accurate diagnostics and a positive patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Perform venipuncture, capillary, and specimen collection for patients of all ages
- Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Verify patient demographics and obtain required signatures to ensure proper identification
- Travel to and support multiple locations based on daily operational needs
- Maintain required documentation and follow established clinical procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service while creating a safe and professional environment
What We're Looking For
- A current, up-to-date resume
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections
- Previous Patient Service Center experience preferred
- Strong customer service and data entry skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites as needed
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
