    About the Role

    Delta Health is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Lab Aide to join our Laboratory Services team. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you’ll work directly with patients of all ages and backgrounds to collect and process blood specimens while providing exceptional patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections with minimal discomfort to the patient
    • Accurately identify patients and label specimens per protocol
    • Follow proper infection control standards and safety procedures
    • Interact professionally and empathetically with patients of all ages
    • Assist with general lab support duties as needed
    • Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and lab personnel

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Previous experience in phlebotomy preferred
    • Certification as a Phlebotomist preferred (additional pay applies)
    • Strong multitasking and communication skills
    • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure or fast-paced situations
    • CPR certification is helpful but not required
