Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to support its Mebane Patient Service Center. This person will perform blood collections across all age groups, including pediatric patients, while providing strong customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, comfortable with computers, and able to maintain accuracy while moving quickly.
Perform venipuncture and capillary collections for patients of all ages
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol testing, and other services
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
Enter patient information accurately and efficiently
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Maintain patient and specimen logs
Provide excellent customer service
Complete administrative and clerical duties
Travel to additional sites if needed

High school diploma or GED
Phlebotomy certification, completed phlebotomy training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience
Approximately 1 year of total phlebotomy experience preferred
6 months to 1 year of pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred
Strong attendance and punctuality
Ability to work quickly
Comfortable with data entry, email, and basic computer tasks
Reliable transportation
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test
