Job Description:

We're hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we're here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best. Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

What to Expect


Start Date: 8/10/2026
 

Pay Rate: $18.08–$19.65/hour, plus a 5% Mobile Premium and applicable weekend differential.

Location: This position is based in Lewiston, ID. Training will be conducted in Spokane, WA.

Travel Requirements

  • This is a mobile position supporting blood drives throughout the service area.

  • Travel to blood drive locations within approximately a 100-mile radius of Lewiston is required.

  • Occasional overnight travel may be required based on blood drive schedules.

  • Candidates should be comfortable working at varying locations throughout the service area.

Training Schedule (10 Weeks)

Monday–Friday

  • Weeks 1–2: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Weeks 3–10: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Post-Training Schedule Expectations

  • Full-time position, 40- hour workweek

  • 5-day workweek

  • Schedule will vary based on blood drive schedules and operational needs

  • Start times may be as early as 4:00–5:00 AM or later, depending on the blood drive schedule

  • End times may be as late as 10:00 PM

  • Employees will not be scheduled to work more than 8 hours per day as part of their regular schedule

  • Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs but are not required

  • Weekend work may be required and is eligible for applicable weekend differential pay

As a Phlebotomist, you'll get to
