Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Mount Kisco, NY 10549.This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organisation!

Specific Duties:
- Phlebotomists draw blood from pediatrics through geriatric patient population.
- Phlebotomists process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures.
- Phlebotomists follow all Phlebotomy SOP and OSHA Safety/PPE guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience with blood drawing for all age groups , knowledge of Epic.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required or non-U.S. High School diploma deemed equivalent after evaluation of the diploma by either Center for Educational Documentation (CED) or North American Education Group (NAEG) (or equivalent education, training or experience)
- Basic computer literacy required, with intermediate Excel skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- The ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies is required
- Good communication and customer service skills required

- At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Location: Mount Kisco, NY 10549
- Job Type: 3+ months contract to hire
- Schedule: M-F 8:30 am - 5 pm, rotational Saturdays 8:00 am - 1:00pm
- Pay Range: $20-$23/hr. on W2
