Responsibilities:

Summary

Provides ongoing medial assistance and care based on the organization’s goals, objectives, aims and philosophy according to contractual requirements.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs routine EKG, blood draws, blood sugar finger sticks and urinalysis.
  • Documents completely all patient encounters in the medical record.
  • Schedules patient appointments during open sick call hours.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with other correctional personnel, nursing staff, physicians and other outside agencies.
  • Performs office duties such as answering phone calls pulling medical records, data entry, and filing medical records.
  • Assist in emergency situations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in phlebotomy.
  • Certification in First-Aid and CPR.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department. 
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

GEO Secured Services

Pay: Pay USD $25.00/Hr.
