Schedule:   M-F 630a-330p and every other Saturday 630a-130p Eastern time
Location:  Orlando FL 32835
Job Type:  local contract 
Contract Length:  2 Months + Extension 
Pay Range:  $19.85/hr  to $21.26/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Duties: 

• Perform venipuncture and collect high-quality blood specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Prepare, process, and handle clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
• Provide professional, compassionate patient service and explain collection procedures to patients.
• Perform daily duties accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment while demonstrating strong customer service and organizational commitment.

Requirements: 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
                      Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• License(s): Not Applicable 
• Certification(s):   Preferred, but not required
• Years of experience: 
  Must have 2 plus years of current phlebotomy experience 
  Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
  Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
