Phlebotomist Outpatient, Full-Time, Days (Bilingual Spanish)

The Phlebotomist in this position draws blood from patients with minimum discomfort and pain, for the performance of various blood and chemical analyses; works effectively with other personnel to provide efficient and effective services.

• Candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment which may include a considerable amount of walking, and physical assistance for patients.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and safety.
• Adaptability and accuracy.
• Must have good visual acuity and motor coordination.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
• Strong computer skills (data entry and typing).
• Honest, dependable, and conscientious.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an approved phlebotomy training program
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) License through the California Department of Public Health
• Previous experience in a laboratory at a multi-specialty clinic
• Must be bilingual in Spanish
