Performs procedures involving blood collection, central receiving/specimen handling, and limited technical functions to assist the technologist in performing laboratory analysis.
Education and Training
High school graduate or equivalent.
Certificate in Phlebotomy or as a Medical Assistant preferred.
Six months previous phlebotomy experience AND/OR completion of a Medical Assistant Program OR a Phlebotomy Program.
BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire and/or transfer.
Experience
Six months previous phlebotomy experience preferred.
Variable Schedule:
Hours: 24 Hours per week
7:00-3:30p or
7:30-4:00p or
8:00-5:00p
Location: Will Travel to offsite Labs located in Hudson, Akron, Kent, Tallmadge
