Olgam Life focuses solely on the aggregation aspect of the donation process, enabling us to focus more closely on the care our donors receive.Job Summary: This position is responsible for the processes of collection preparation, phlebotomy, venipuncture site care, monitoring, reaction management, and donor release of all donors that present to an Olgam Plasma Center location. The Phlebotomist will ensure donation safety while donating, and follow all federal, local, and organizational standards related to this determination.Free Paid Training at minimum wageHourly Pay Rate: $23 / HRShifts:  1 pm to 9:30 pm(potential openings may open up from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm)Days off:  Saturday plus one other week dayPaid PTO, Benefits are offerred after 60 days of employment. Job Duties and Responsibilities:Reviews donor records for donation suitability.Performs donation set-up activities.Performs venipuncture for donation.Performs phlebotomy for whole blood sample draws.Determines vein suitability for donation.Monitors donors during donation process.Manage donor reactions and responds immediately to all donor safety concerns.Perform troubleshooting activities related to the pheresis equipment.Performs routine equipment cleaning and supply restocking as needed.Other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills & Experience: A minimum of 1 years' experience working in a regulated environment is preferred A minimum of 6 months' experience performing phlebotomy in a clinical setting is preferred Organizational skills and attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills Professional communication and the ability to inform and report appropriately to managementScheduling flexibility to ensure appropriate center support and coverage Ability to execute multi-step technical driven tasks Familiarization with electronic systems/platforms used to organize, track, and execute tasks Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 lbsRequired Education:High School diploma or equivalent such as a GED. Benefits include but not limited to:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance Olgam Life® is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race/ethnicity, age, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or relationship/association with a protected veteran, or any other basis or characteristic protected by law.
