    US Wellness is actively recruiting qualified and licensed phlebotomy professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

    • Must be comfortable working in PRN role-meaning as needed
    • Find veins that are suitable for puncture
    • Obtain blood specimen by performing venipuncture
    • Draw blood using sterilized needles, vials and other equipment
    • Ensure optimal quality and quantity of samples
    • Label samples correctly and send or deliver them for testing
    • Maintain quality results by following company procedures and testing schedule.
    • Well-rounded knowledge in basic health coaching
    • Verify participant data and explain sampling procedure
    • Strict adherence to HIPAA/HITECH guidelines
    • Focus on quality customer service
    • Commitment to professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to directed protocols
    • Possess professional demeanor and appearance
    • Maintains safe, clean, and organized work environment by following company standards and procedures
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Possess a strong attention to detail
    • Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures and comply with legal regulations
    • Ability to pass a background check
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • All screeners are required to wear a mask and follow all specific client related COVID protocols.

    Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician

    Experience with effective puncture techniques

    Understanding of proper patient identification methods

    Knowledge of legal requirements about drawing blood, handling fluid samples and use of relevant medical equipment and material

    • Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry items up to 30 pounds
    • Continually required to talk or hear and use visual acuity to operate specialized equipment, read technical information, and/or use keyboard
    • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
    • Occasionally exposed to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials
