Job Description
This floating Phlebotomist role serves multiple patient service centers across South Brooklyn, performing high-volume blood draws and specimen processing while delivering excellent patient care. You will work with a diverse, primarily adult patient population, accurately collect and process specimens, and maintain precise electronic records in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Work Environment
This is a float position covering multiple patient service centers within the South Brooklyn area. Primary locations include sites on East 12th Street, Ocean Avenue, Kings Highway, and Avenue D in Brooklyn. Phlebotomists typically see approximately 30-50 patients per day in outpatient patient service centers, working with about 80% adult patients, including geriatric individuals. The environment is fast-paced and requires consistent interaction with patients, use of computer systems for data entry and record updates, and regular handling of specimens using equipment such as centrifuges. Various part-time style schedules are available, generally within weekday morning to early afternoon hours and every Saturday from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or Tuesday through Saturday in similar time frames. The role requires moving between designated locations within the territory as needed, adhering to standard clinical attire and safety protocols appropriate for a diagnostic laboratory setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
