The Phlebotomy Processing Supervisor is responsible for the operation of the laboratory area involving phlebotomy and specimen processing to include staff quality supplies and fiscal responsibilities. Interacts with other areas of the lab and facility to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Licenses & Certifications: Certified Phlebotomist Qualifications: Minimum of National Phlebotomy Certification Certified Medical Assistant MLT or equivalent required Must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner Must be able to provide leadership in a team environment Must demonstrate computer proficiency One year experience in a clinical laboratory reference lab physician office lab setting required Phlebotomy skills proficiency required Supervisory experience preferred
