What Youll Need:
- Valid Phlebotomy Certification
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience
- Experience drawing blood from pediatric patients
- Proficiency with laboratory systems such as Meditech and/or Mobilab
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different age groups
- Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen labeling and documentation
- Ability to respond swiftly to STAT requests and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Physical stamina to travel to nursing homes, patient homes, and satellite facilities as needed
- Knowledge of hospital and laboratory safety protocols
Nice to Have:
- Additional certifications in pediatric or advanced phlebotomy
- Experience working in a hospital setting or with specialized patient populations
- Bilingual abilities to better serve diverse communities
Preferred Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven record of at least three years in a clinical phlebotomy role, with pediatric experience highly valued
Other Requirements:
- Travel required to nursing homes, home care, and satellite facilities
- Availability to work Thursday through Sunday, from 8:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Experience with Meditech and Mobilab systems is mandatory
- Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations and policies
