Phlebotomist Technician

Required Skills
- Proven experience in phlebotomy, including pediatric draws
- Ability to work independently in off-site settings
- Proficiency with Meditech and/or Mobilab laboratory systems
- Valid phlebotomy certification
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication and patient interaction capabilities
- Experience handling specimens safely and accurately
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with patient specimen accessioning
- Ability to manage emergency or stat blood draws
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and compliance protocols
- Multilingual communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of professional phlebotomy experience, including pediatric collections
- Experience working in hospital or outpatient clinics is highly desirable
Other Requirements
- Travel to nursing homes, patient homes, and satellite facilities for specimen collection
- Valid certifications in phlebotomy
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Willingness to participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
