Job Title- ENTRY Phlebotomist I
Location- Jupiter, FL

Duration- 4+ Months
Shift/Time Zone: 7 am- 3 pm Monday - Friday

 
Job Summary:
Need compassionate and customer-focused Patient Services Representative I / Lobby Experience Coordinator (LEC) to create a welcoming experience for patients from the moment they arrive.
This role is primarily responsible for greeting patients, assisting with the check-in process, maintaining an organized lobby environment, and providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will also utilize basic phlebotomy skills by providing coverage during staff breaks and assisting with specimen collection when needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients warmly and create a positive, welcoming environment.
  • Assist patients with check-in using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.
  • Answer patient questions and address concerns with professionalism, empathy, and compassion.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe lobby and waiting area.
  • Provide coverage for phlebotomists during breaks and staffing shortages by performing basic specimen collection duties.
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills while meeting daily productivity and quality standards.
  • Promote a positive image of the organization through professional interactions with patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Area Supervisor.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • Some phlebotomy experience required (including internship or externship experience).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of customer-facing experience in roles such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, home health, or similar.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Basic keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to work both in the lobby and the phlebotomy draw room as needed.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required (public transportation, rideshare, or Uber are not considered reliable transportation).
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and available to work the assigned schedule.
  • Candidates should live within a 20–25-minute commute of the work location.
  • Students must have schedules that do not conflict with assigned work shifts.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in a healthcare or laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and specimen handling procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional while assisting patients of all ages.
