Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician - Float -Position Summary

The Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician - Float -interacts with patients and other health-care providers to collect, transport and/or process blood and other body fluids from a full spectrum of the patient population. He/she performs EKG procedures in conjunction with the Department of Cardiology. He/she participates in educational and training activities and may participate in the performance of routine administrative and non\u2013routine technical functions.

• This is a float position that will support all of our Outreach Lab locations in MD/DE

Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician - Float -Position Requirements

Education

• Successful completion of an approved training program consisting of both lectures and practical application in phlebotomy or comparable education or experience.
• Will be trained in house to perform EKG functions.

Experience

• One year's experience performing similar duties preferred.
• Should have good typing skills.

Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician - Float - Benefits

• At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $17.20 - $24.94 Commensurate with experience
