Labcorp is seeking a **Phlebotomy Supervisor** to join us and manage teams in the **Portland, OR & SW Washington Area** **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, hours vary between 6am - 7pm, Saturdays when needed. **Work Location:** Portland, OR / Vancouver & Camas, WA **Job Responsibilities:** + Supervise a team of 25 or more phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices + Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs + Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary + Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking + Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals + Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions + Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions + Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management + Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients + Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices + Provide resolution of any patient or client issues + Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed + Travel to additional sites as necessary **Minimum Qualifications:** + Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P) + 2 years or more of experience as a phlebotomist **Preferred Qualifications:** + 3 years or more of experience supervising or leading a team **Additional Job Standards:** + Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation + At least 21 years' old + In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques + Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service + Strong communication skills; both written and verbal + Ability to work independently or in a team environment + Comfortably working under minimal supervision + Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable + Able to pass a standardized color blindness test As a Phlebotomy Supervisor you will lead a team of Phlebotomists and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others.
