Job Summary (List Format) Arizona Secretary of State's Office Initiative Internship Program
- 5-week full-time summer internship (June 29, 2026 July 31, 2026) with the Elections Division
- Opportunity to observe and learn about state government functions, election administration, and the initiative review process
- Attend trainings related to election administration
- Conduct research on state statutes and initiative process requirements
- Review initiative petition sheets and ensure compliance with Arizona statutory requirements
- Gain hands-on experience in public service and election processes
- Work collaboratively with the Elections Division team
- Develop skills in professionalism, critical thinking, active listening, and computer navigation
- Must remain objective and nonpartisan throughout the internship
- Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Internship requires full-time participation, including weekends, holidays, and possible overtime
