Position: Phone Nurse (LPN)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay: $20.50 per hour
Position Overview
The Phone Nurse (LPN) provides clinical support by responding to patient calls, assessing needs, and delivering guidance based on established protocols. This role also supports providers by relaying messages and assisting with patient care coordination. The position includes floating responsibilities to ensure coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer patient calls, assess concerns, and provide guidance using established clinical protocols
- Relay patient information and messages to providers for further evaluation or follow-up
- Document patient interactions accurately and maintain up-to-date records
- Float to assist in other areas or cover staff absences as needed
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in good standing
- Experience in a clinical or patient-facing healthcare setting
- Strong communication and triage skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and follow established protocols
