PHP Developer
Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract
Rate: DOE
US Citizens, GC, EAD ( H4, L2), E3 TN visa holders preferred, NO third party corp to corp accepted for this job

As a PHP Developer, you will work closely with other developers, DB developers, business analysts and QA analysts on fixing tickets.

General Responsibilities:

• System maintenance
• Participate and contribute in the full project life cycle, including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of applications using PHP, JavaScript
• Document code so other engineers can reuse and support components in the future.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues if needed
• Follow standard software development methodologies and SDLC and Agile practices to produce high quality applications in an efficient manner.

Skills and Experience Needed

• Need to have good understanding of OOPS
• Need to be familiar with at least one of the MVC frameworks(CodeIgniter, Laravel, Symfony )
• HTML,CSS , JavaScript , jQuery , Bootstrap
• AWS Services EC2,CloudWatch, S3
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Experience with at least one of the databases MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server but POSTGRESQL is preferred.

Desired:

• Node.js experience
