Position Overview:
Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking a skilled, compassionate Physiatrist to fill an opening at a reputable multi-specialty practice in Tavares, FL, Winter Garden, FL, Ocoee, FL, & Orange City, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, neurological disorders, or other conditions causing pain and functional impairment.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive, non-surgical treatment plans, which may include physical therapy, medication management, and therapeutic injections.
- Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) as needed to aid in diagnosis.
- Collaborate with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate patient care and maximize functional outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing pain and improving mobility.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic medical record.
Requirements
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted Florida Medical State License.
- Certification: Board Certified.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in performing and interpreting relevant diagnostic procedures. Experience with EMR systems.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work effectively within a multi-specialty team.
