We are supporting a federal program seeking a Physical Access Control (PACS) Integration Engineer to support enterprise access control systems and identity-based security environments. This role focuses on integrating PACS with credentialing systems (PIV/CAC), supporting PKI-based validation, and maintaining secure access control infrastructure.
• Support and maintain physical and logical access control systems (PACS/LACS) integrated with PIV or CAC credentials
• Configure, troubleshoot, and support PACS systems and related components
• Support integration between PACS and identity/credentialing systems, including PKI-based validation
• Assist with onboarding and connectivity between distributed PACS environments and centralized systems
• Apply knowledge of ICAM/FICAM concepts and credential lifecycle processes (enrollment, issuance, revocation, etc.)
• Document system configurations, architectures, and operational processes
• Hands-on experience with physical access control systems (Lenel, CCURE, Genetec, Hirsch, or similar)
• Experience integrating PACS systems with credential-based access systems (PIV, CAC)
• Working knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and certificate-based authentication
• Experience supporting access control systems in secure or regulated environments
• Understanding of ICAM/FICAM architectures and credential lifecycle processes
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and support access control systems in production environments
• Eligible for Public Trust clearance
• Experience in federal or DHS environments
• Familiarity with NIST standards related to access control and PIV systems
• Experience supporting system integrations or enterprise access control environments
