PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification, K-12
• Physical Education major or minor required, Physical Education (MB)or Health, Physical Education and Dance (MX) endorsement required
• Must meet Michigan Highly Qualified Teacher standards in the subject area, successful MTTC scores required.
• Willingness and ability to work cooperatively on a teaching team.
• Credential file documentation of successful attainment, excellent student teacher and/or teaching experiences.
• Candidates interested in sponsoring extra-curricular activities preferred.
• Computer/Technology knowledge such as Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail, Creation of web pages, etc. required.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

Salary
